Tecno Spark 20 was officially announced in December 2023 alongside Tecno Spark 20 Pro and Tecno Spark 20 Pro +. Pre Orders began on 01 December 2023 and the devices were made available on December 2023. It landed in Kenya in January 2024. The Tecno Spark 20 succeeds the Tecno Spark 10 as the top new Tecno flagship. Tecno Spark 20 is available at City hub at Ksh.17,600 for the 128GB and Ksh.22,700 for the 256GB.
The Tecno Spark 20 is a budget-friendly smartphone that boasts a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen display with an HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate with 720 x 1612 pixels 20:9 ratio (~267 ppi density). It runs on Android 13 OS and is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset processor, which ensures decent multitasking and gaming performance. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage for your apps and files. The handset measures 163.7 x 75.6 x 8.5 mm (6.44 x 2.98 x 0.33 inches).
It features a 50MP Expert Ultra Clear Camera for high-resolution photography. The night mode enhances low-light shots by capturing 400% more light. The 32MP front-facing camera captures stunning selfies, even in dim conditions. It is anchored by 256GB and 8GB RAM in terms of storage (it also comes with a MicroSDXC for additional memory).
