Xiaomi Redmi 13C was officially announced in November 2023 alongside Xiaomi Poco C65, Redmi Note 13R Pro and Xiaomi Redmi Watch 4. Pre Orders began on 10 November 2023 and the devices were made available on November 10, 2023. It landed in Kenya in December 2023. The Xiaomi Redmi 13C succeeds the Xiaomi Redmi 13C as the top new Redmi flagship.  Xiaomi Redmi 13C is available at City hub at Ksh.13900 for the 128GB + 4GB RAM and Ksh.16,500 for the 128GB + 6GB RAM.

The Redmi 13C features a 6.71-inch IPS LCD and an Octa-core MediaTek MT6769Z Helio G85 (12nm) processor with Mali-G52 MC2 GPU. It also has a dual 50MP + 0.08 MP rear camera and a 5 MP, f/2.0 front camera for selfies. The Redmi 12C runs on Android 13 OS, which is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery.

Design

The design of the Redmi 13C is modern and sleek, refined design and at just 8.09mm slim with a curved glass back that looks great and feels good in the hand. The display on the Redmi 13C is a 6.74-inch LTPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720×1650 (HD+) and a refresh rate of 90Hz. Furthermore, the maximum brightness of the panel is 500nits and it has a 1500:1 contrast ratio. As for audio output, the phone has stereo speakers for a rich and immersive sound experience.

The screen is protected with a Corning Gorilla Glass. There is a small punch hole to make way for the selfie camera. The screen supports up to 500nits of peak brightness. The Redmi 13C has a triple camera setup consisting of a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2MP macro lens with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2MP portrait lens with an f/2.4 aperture. the ultra-clear imaging system has a powerful hardware and improved image processing delivering amazing images, day and night.
