The One Plus 12R was launched in January 2024 alongside the One Plus N30 SE and One Plus Watch 2. Pre-orders began on 23 January 2024, and the devices were made available on February 06, 2024. It landed in Kenya in March 2024. The One Plus 12R succeeds the One Plus 11R as the top new One Plus flagship. The One Plus 12R is available at City hub at Ksh.72,000 for the 256GB + 16GB RAM.
OnePlus 12R 5G is running on the Qualcomm SM8550-AB Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) processor with Adreno 740 GPU. The phone has up to 16 GB RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage which is not expandable. OnePlus 12R has a 6.78-inch, 1264 x 2780 pixels AMOLED display with a pixel density of 450 ppi. It has Gorilla Glass protection as well. Coming to cameras, it has a 50 MP rear camera and a 16 MP front camera for selfies. It has a USB Type-C port for data syncing and charging. There is a fingerprint sensor present on the OnePlus 12R as well, along with a magnetic field sensor (compass), gyroscope sensor, proximity sensor, and accelerometer sensor.
