Pocco F8 Ultra

Design & Display

The Poco F8 Ultra features a large 6.9-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate for super-smooth scrolling and gaming, very high peak brightness (up to around 3500 nits) for excellent outdoor visibility, and support for Dolby Vision as well as HDR10+ for vibrant, film-like video playback. The screen also includes TÜV-certified eye-care features and a high touch-sampling rate that makes games feel responsive. The phone has a premium build with a glass front, aluminum frame, and durable design with IP68 water and dust resistance, meaning it can survive splashes and brief immersion.

Performance & Software

Under the hood, the Poco F8 Ultra packs the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, one of the fastest smartphone processors available, combined with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage (256 GB, 512 GB, or up to 1 TB). This powerful hardware handles demanding apps, heavy multitasking, high-end gaming, and creative workflows with ease. It runs Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface, offering a customizable experience with optimizations for performance and battery life.

 Camera System

Photography on the Poco F8 Ultra is a strong point thanks to a triple 50 MP rear camera setup: a main wide sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) for steady shots, a 50 MP periscope telephoto lens with 5× optical zoom for distant subjects, and a 50 MP ultra-wide lens for landscapes, group shots, and creative angles. This configuration allows versatile photography and high-quality video recording up to 8K resolution. On the front, a 32 MP selfie camera handles detailed self-portraits and crisp video calls.

 Battery & Charging

Battery life is one of the standout features of this phone. It packs a large 6500 mAh battery that’s capable of lasting a full day (or more) of mixed use without needing a recharge. When you do need power, the phone supports 100 W wired HyperCharge for fast top-ups, 50 W wireless charging (sold separately), and 22.5 W reverse wireless charging to power other devices like earbuds or watches, all efficient and useful charging options.

 Audio, Connectivity & Extras

The Poco F8 Ultra delivers rich audio with a Bose-tuned 2.1 stereo speaker system that includes a dedicated subwoofer for deeper bass and immersive sound, rare in smartphones. Connectivity includes full 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, GPS, infrared blaster, and USB-C 3.2 with DisplayPort support for video output or accessories. It also has an in-display fingerprint sensor for fast security and convenience.
