Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro was officially announced in January 2024 alongside Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro+ and Xiaomi Redmi Note 13. Pre Orders began on 15 January 2024 and the devices were made available on January 15, 2024. It landed in Kenya in February 2024. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro succeeds the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro as the top new Redmi flagship.  Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro is available at City hub at Ksh.39,500 for the 256GB + 8GB RAM and Ksh.48,800 for the 512GB + 12GB RAM.

It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 (6 nm) SoC with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal memory. Redmi Note 13 Pro packs a triple camera main set-up comprising 200MP + 8MP + 2MP and a 16MP front camera inside the punch-hole. The Note 13 Pro smartphone is powered by a 5,100mAh battery, recharged by a 67W, wired fast charger.

Design

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G is a smartphone of a solid build with flat panels. There is a Gorilla Glass 5 sheet at the front that keeps the screen safe and a matte plastic panel on the back. The plastic frame is also flat, with matching color and texture to the rear side.

The back panel, it is quite eye-catching with three stripes – two small ones acting as camera delimiters and a large distraction-free one near the bottom. Those stripes are painted with different nuances of the same Forest Green color on our review unit.
