Camera
The iPhone 17 Pro carries the most versatile camera system Apple has built into a phone, a triple 48MP arrangement that lets you shoot wide, ultra wide and telephoto with a consistent look. For a creator it behaves less like a phone camera and more like a compact production kit.

Video Recording

Video Features
This is where the phone separates itself. It records ProRes RAW to an external SSD, shoots in Apple Log 2 for full grading latitude, and supports genlock for frame-accurate multi-camera sync, capabilities that until recently belonged only to cinema cameras.

The A19 Pro and 12GB of RAM run a full multi-track timeline on the phone, so you can cut and export in CapCut, LumaFusion or Final Cut Pro for iPad without transferring to a computer.
Audio
A multi-microphone array captures spatial, directional audio with wind reduction, and USB-C connectivity turns the phone into a recording front end for an external wireless mic such as the DJI Mic or Hollyland Lark.

An aerospace-grade aluminium unibody with an internal vapor chamber keeps the phone cool and fast, wrapped around a 6.3-inch ProMotion display with an anti-reflective coating and Ceramic Shield 2 protection.
