Realme C30s in Kenya

Realme C30S was officially announced in September 2022 alongside Realme C33 and Realme Watch 3 Pro. Pre Orders began on 14 September 2022 and the devices were made available on September 23, 2022. It landed in Kenya in October 2022. The Realme C30S succeeds the Realme C2 as the top new Realme flagship.  Realme C30S is available at City hub at Ksh.12,000 for the 32GB + 2GB RAM, Ksh.14,650 for the 64GB +3GB RAM and Ksh.16,500 for the 64GB + 4GB RAM.

The Realme C30s is an entry-level smartphone featuring a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen display. Powered by an octa-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A55 CPU processor. The smartphone comes in 2GB or 4GB of RAM with internal storage is 32GB or 64GB which is expandable. It has a micro-USB port for data syncing and charging. It is designed with a Glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back.

It has a single rear camera of 8MP wide camera with LED flash, HDR, and panorama. And a front camera of 5 MP wide camera with HDR for selfies. It is a dual SIM smartphone with support for 3G, USB OTG, Wi-Fi, and GPS too. The Realme C30s runs on Android 12, which is powered by a 5000 mAh battery. It measures 164.2 x 75.7 x 8.5 mm (height x width x thickness) with a total weight of 186 grams including the battery.

There is a fingerprint sensor present on the Realme C30s as well, along with a proximity sensor, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and accelerometer sensor. It has a 5000mAh non-removable battery with 10W wired charging. The Realme C30s strikes a balance between affordability and functionality. It is available in Stripe Blue and Stripe Black in colors.
