Realme C55 was officially announced in March 2023 alongside Realme C33 (2023) and Realme 10T. Pre Orders began on 07 March 2023 and the devices were made available on March 08, 2023. It landed in Kenya in April 2023. The Realme C55 succeeds the Realme C35 as the top new Realme flagship. Realme C55 is available at City hub at Ksh.24,000 for the 128GB and Ksh.31,500 for the 256GB.
The Realme C55 is a budget-friendly Android smartphone that offers a compelling package. It features a 6.72-inch IPS LCD screen display with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels density of 392 ppi and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.  Powered by the MediaTek Helio G88 chipset processor (12 nm). It is designed with a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back.
Coming to cameras, it has dual setup of 64 MP wide camera (f/1.8, PDAF) and 2MP depth sensor. And a front camera of 8 MP (f/2.0, wide). The phone has 6 GB RAM and 128 GB and 8 GB RAM and 256 GB of internal storage which is expandable using microSDXC (dedicated slot). It a battery of 5000mAh non-removable battery with 33W wired charging (50% in just 29 minutes).
It has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, accelerometer, proximity sensor, compass, and USB Type-C 2.0. The Realme C55 strikes a balance between affordability and functionality. It is available in Sun Shower, Rainy Night, and Rainforest colors.
