Inside the Xiaomi 17 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset built on a 3 nm process, paired with 12 GB or 16 GB of RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage (no expandable storage). This hardware combo delivers elite‑level speed and efficiency for demanding tasks like gaming, heavy multitasking, and creative apps. The phone runs Android 16 with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3 interface, which offers fluid animations, smart resource management, and smooth cross‑device connectivity.

Camera System

Photography is a major focus of the 17 Pro. It uses a Leica‑co‑engineered triple 50 MP camera setup: a wide lens with OIS, a periscope telephoto lens with up to 5× optical zoom, and an ultra‑wide lens for scenic shots.
